RESOLUTION NO. 1-2012   A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY OF NORRIS TO APPLY FOR A 2012 HOME GRANT   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   WHEREAS, homes for the Citizens of the City of Norris are of the greatest importance; and   WHEREAS, assistance in the repair and replacement of homes in the City of Norris that belong to low to moderate income families is needed; and   WHEREAS, all efforts shall be made to use energy efficiently and to conserve energy wherever possible; and   WHEREAS, The THDA Home Grant Program can provide funds for assistance in the repair and replacement of homes in the City of Norris: and   WHEREAS, the City of Norris now seeks to participate in this important program,               NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORRIS, TENNESSEE the following:               That the City of Norris City Manager is hereby authorized to submit an application for a 2012 Home Grant.                 Resolved this 9th day of January in the year of 2012.
