ORDINANCE 508
AN
ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF NORRIS, TENNESSEE BY ZONING NEWLY ANNEXED TERRITORY BOTH W-1 WATERSHED DISTRICT
AND S-1 SCENIC HIGHWAY DISTRICT AS DEPICTED ON THE ATTACHED MAP.
WHEREAS,
The Norris City Council, in accordance with Section 13-7-204 of the Tennessee Code Annotated, may amend the zoning
ordinance and the “Zoning Map of Norris, Tennessee”; and
WHEREAS, the Norris Municipal Planning Commission has
forwarded it’s recommendation of approval to the Norris City Council regarding the amendment to the “Zoning Map
of Norris, Tennessee”;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED
by the City Council of the City of Norris, Tennessee:
Section 1. The Zoning Map of Norris, Tennessee is hereby amended by adding the territory annexed and incorporated
by the City of Norris by Ordinance No. 508 and zoning said territory W-1 Watershed District and S-1 Scenic Highway District,
said property and zoning being more clearly defined on the attached map, which was made part of this ordinance.
Section 2.
This ordinance shall be effective from and after its passage and publication, as required by Tennessee Code Annotated
Section 13-7-203, the public welfare requiring it.
