East Norris Road from the intersections with Pine Road and Dogwood Road will be closed until 2:00 p.m. to vehicular and pedestrian traffic for work related to the I&I Sewer Rehabilitation project.

Norris Waterworks Department Crews are currently investigating a water main break on Reservoir Road. NWC customers on Reservoir Road beginning at the intersection with East and West Circle Roads may experience outages during this time. Please be patient as our team works diligently to address the issue. Additionally, there will be intermittent road closures throughout the day related to the I&I project in the following areas:

Residents should be prepared for traffic control signs and road closure between 7AM until 4PM on the following dates:
Wednesday July 23rd: Dogwood will be closed to through traffic. Monday July 28th and Tuesday July 29th: East Norris Road: Detour From Hwy 61 up E. During the last week of July (July 28 - August 1) , Waste Connections expects to begin the delivery of their new standardized solid waste containers for residential customers. We expect residents to begin fully utilizing their new containers no later than the August 12th, 2025, pickup. If you wish to have Waste Connections pick up your old container(s), please place them next to your new container on August 19, 2025.
In conjunction with this implementation, the City’s parking lot next to the tennis courts on Chestnut Drive will be closed on July 28 and remain closed for the duration of the container rollout.
