The range is located at 506 Upper Clear Creek Rd. Norris TN 37828.
The Rifle Range annual permits are good from the date of purchase until the following June 30.
The cost is $75.00 for a single or $100.00 for a married couple. With both, any children 17 or younger are included at no additional charge.
Daily permits are not available.
PLEASE ALLOW 48 HOURS AFTER SUBMITTING THE ONLINE PERMIT BEFORE ARRIVING TO THE CITY OFFICE TO PICK UP YOUR KEY AND PERMIT.

Permits and range keys may be picked up at the following locations and times
Norris City Community Building, 20 Chestnut Drive, Norris, TN 37828 Mon-Fri 8AM-4:30PM
Norris Police Station (Sat and Sunday only) 8AM-10AM or 2PM-3PM (unless officers are on a call)
Hours of operation are from dawn until dusk, 7 days a week
Exception: Thursday’s from 7:00 AM until 11:00 AM for range maintenance.
The range is also closed in August and in November for two scheduled hunts, during which time the watershed is closed to the public. Hunt dates will be on this page once they have been confirmed.
The range consists of three separate covered table areas which includes two pistol ranges and one rifle range.
FIRST PISTOL RANGE: 15 yards with two lanes
SECOND PISTOL RANGE: 50 yards with three lanes
RIFLE RANGE: 50 yards out to approximately 200 yards with 6 lanes
NOT ALLOWED ON THE RANGE:
No automatic rifles or rounds larger than 50 cal. are allowed to be fired on the range.
No Tracer rounds or other ammunition that could start a fire are allowed on the range.
NO TRAP, SKEET, OR CLAY SHOOTING ALLOWED.
You must obtain a permit to access the range and no guests are allowed. Each adult person must have a permit to be on the range.
When on the range you must have on your person or vehicle the signed copy of the permit and the key.
Individuals on the range without a permit are considered to be trespassing and are subject to local and state law.
