The City of Norris is home to many parks and recreation facilities open for use by the public. All of the city’s outdoor parks close at dark.

Norris Commons and ArboretumLocation: W Circle Road
The Norris Commons and Arboretum is nestled in the heart of Norris. The park features an open green space for a variety of activities. The Norris Commons, featuring 36 different species of trees, has been certified as a Level 1 Arboretum by the Tennessee Urban Forestry Council. |

Norris Lions PavilionThe Norris Lions Pavilion is a great space for gathering near the Norris town center.

Norris Community BuildingThe Norris Community Building features a gymnasium and a community room. The gymnasium is open for public use during normal business hours when it is not being used for scheduled purposes.

Tennis CourtsLocated between the Community Building and Eric Harold Park, the Norris Tennis Courts feature two playing surfaces for tennis and pickleball. The courts are open to the public for use on a first-come-first-served basis.

Norris Disc Golf CourseThe Norris Disc Golf Course is a 9-hole course with alternate basket and tee locations providing 18-hole playability. The first tee pad is located adjacent to the Tennis Courts.

Eric Harold Memorial ParkEric Harold Park features a playground structure, swings, and a pavilion. The park is located directly adjacent to the Norris Disc Golf Course and Tennis Courts and has its own dedicated parking lot.

Oak Road ParkOak Road Park features a playground structure with rubber mulch, swings, a new pavilion structure, a basketball court, and ample greenspace. Additionally, the park features a small wading pool for children that operates at specified times during the summer (see the Summer Recreation Program Calendar for operating hours).

Ridgeway ParkWhile the smallest of Norris’ parks, Ridgeway Park offers an array of climbing equipment, swings, and a slide along with greenspace.
Parking is located in the spaces along the perimeter of the park. |

Creamery ParkThe Creamery Park features a walking path at the former site of the Norris Creamery, which was the first privately-owned all-electric milk-producing plant in the world. The city has future plans to install seating in the park along with signs explaining the history of the Norris Creamery.
